This is motivated by fluctuations in the number of students who are highly dependent on the employees of the Indonesian Embassy and Indonesian citizens in Riyadh, coupled with the burden or demands of teachers who have to teach at multiple levels, multiple classes, and the need to improve the global literacy of students. The service team initiated the International Community Service with the aim of improving teacher competence at Sekolah Indonesia Riyadh (SIR) through various evaluation designs based on students’ global literacy, strengthening intercultural relationships and expanding cross-cultural understanding, as well as skill development by providing opportunities for service participants through experience. The Global Partnership is also implemented by the team with the aim of developing strong international networks and partnerships that support academic, research, and community development programs; the development of joint education programs in an effort to improve the quality of education in Riyadh while introducing a global perspective; and encouraging opportunities for student and lecturer exchanges between institutions in Riyadh and international partners.
